Chrysler is recalling 45,000 vehicles in the United States and Canada due to a potential interference with the air bags.

The affected vehicles include the 2023 Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, and Dodge Challenger.

The recall is being issued because the front passenger seat air bag wiring harness may be routed too close to the steering wheel.

This could cause the wiring harness to come into contact with the steering wheel during a crash, which could interfere with the deployment of the air bag.

Chrysler is not aware of any injuries or accidents related to this issue.

Owners of affected vehicles will be notified by mail and will be instructed to take their vehicles to a Chrysler dealer for a free repair.
